so today was kind of an odd day...
we had to get up early to get the boys to Kaiser. yay. can you feel the excitement??
curly top was due for his 4 year well baby visit while doodlebug needed his 1 year shots.
the funniest part of the entire visit was when she tried to give Jake his eye exam...
On the chart were heart, circle, house, and square shapes.
he was instructed to cover one eye at a time while she pointed at various shapes...
when she pointed at the house, he confidently said:
"that's a hexagon. yup. a hexagon."
i laughed out loud and she said "well that's the first time I've heard that one!"
i guess you just have to know jake because that answer was just. so. jake.
he weighed in at a whopping 47 pounds and is 42 1/2 inches tall.
he got 2 shots and a spiderman sticker, but he left feeling a little taken advantage of...
let's just say she had to make sure his 2 little guys had dropped... they have. he was pissed.
Doodlebug, poor baby, got 5 shots today!!
we are delaying his MMR until 2 years which is the same plan we followed with our big kids
it's the plan we follow because it just works for us!
Zachary is 24.7 pounds and 31.5 long!
Finally we have a baby that is ON the chart!
Anyway, tomorrow is the husbands birthday... no major plans. he has to work so we'll have some breakfast and sing happy birthday with some cake before he has to leave.
Little Miss is very concerned that daddy needs a bounce house.
that's my girl! :)

waaaay too many grapes= 2 points

6 oz. chicken in shake n bake= 8 points
cup of carrots n peas/ICBINB= 2 points
dessert:
fudge bar= 1 point
total: 22 points
reflection:
1. DON'T skip meals!!! i should have grabbed a banana
2. still no dairy which I need to add more of
